The optician- Andrea - was the best I've seen at Boots. Friendly, explained everything and was patient with my questions.
Emilie(?), the trainee assistant, again was lovely. Professional but personable.
My only complaint would be that one of the male members of staff kept calling her darling, which I felt was really patronising and unprofessional.
Sara Miller - has been amazing - she offers a high level of care and professionalism for which i would highly recommend her to anyone
excellent service!!! thankyou
very knowledgeable staff
You should be warned how long it will take to complete your order - if you are going to go through all the accuracy tests you need to let people know. Lawrence assisted me in choosing glasses and I don't think it's his fault that he had to spend time looking for an I pad to take photos for me, then he had to go and find a torch, and had to leave me several times to check on something or find a colleague to check measurements, accuracy checks etc - you need to let customers know how long it's going to take - I allowed 45 minutes and it took twice that. Also the whole thing about choosing which varifocal lrnsrs and the pricing structure is VERY confusing
The optometrist suggested that the only way she could improve the slight lack of sharpness in my vision in certain conditions was by giving me a prescription for cataract removal, and she seemed dismissive when I refused. I have been told for a number of years by your optometrists that I have mild cataracts and reassured by them that surgery should not be necessary.
I accept that a prescription change would not correct things but left feeling less than confident in the visit.
